1. First, understand these key terms, and Odin.fun will be easy to comprehend!
Before understanding Odin.fun, we need to recognize a few key concepts: ICP, CKBTC, t-ECDSA, t-Schnorr, and Chain Fusion. These may sound complex, but don’t worry, I will explain them in the simplest terms:
ICP Network: A public chain similar to Ethereum (ETH) that serves as the underlying network for smart contracts.
CKBTC: The 'Bitcoin twin asset' in the ICP network, pegged 1:1 with the mainnet BTC, and currently the only decentralized wrapped BTC. The private keys use a sharding architecture, managed by 34 subnet nodes distributed across seven continents, providing higher security.
t-ECDSA: Threshold Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm, a standard signing scheme for blockchains like Bitcoin, used for transaction verification.
t-Schnorr: Threshold Schnorr signing scheme, a more concise elliptic curve signing scheme.
(t-ECDSA and t-Schnorr are both signing verification schemes for asset transactions on the BTC network; TS is an upgraded version that is more efficient and secure, but slightly less compatible.)
Chain Fusion: Chain Fusion means integrating with BTC, ETH, and all public chain networks at the protocol level, achieving interoperation of all public chain assets within the ICP network through chain keys and threshold signing schemes. This also serves as the technological support for Odin to potentially add BRC20 and other assets in the future.
Integration types are divided into two categories:
Native Integration: This means that nodes from other chains run alongside ICP nodes. The container can directly read the state of the Bitcoin blockchain and sign Bitcoin transactions; BTCICP is a form of native integration.
RPC Integration - The integration of ICP with Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks is achieved through the EVM RPC smart contract container on ICP, which communicates using on-chain APIs.

2. Three major questions about ODIN•FUN, answered at once!
1. What exactly is ODIN•FUN?
2. Are the runes created by ODIN•FUN mainnet runes?
3. If ODIN•FUN runs away, how can I withdraw my funds?
First: What exactly is ODIN•FUN?
It is a DAPP built on the ICP Layer 1 network, created through ICP Chain Fusion native integration technology to establish smart contracts. The underlying technology uses Chain Fusion Technology of the ICP network, which allows ICP smart contracts to read and write directly on the Bitcoin network (referencing BTCICP as a form of native integration).
Second: Are the runes created by ODIN•FUN mainnet runes?
Not entirely. The 'runes' created within Odin's internal system are 'CK Tokens', which are only recorded within the ICP network, similar to 'internal tokens'. Only after being 'launched' to the external market (mainnet) do they become true Bitcoin mainnet runes, which can be withdrawn to personal wallets. This is the conclusion shared by @OmnityNetwork founder @louisliubj during the conference.
Third: If ODIN•FUN runs away, how can I withdraw my funds?
Architecture: Odin's front end is not on the ICP network, but the smart contracts and CKBTC run on ICP.
Governance: Officially, contract upgrades are managed by Odin DAO (4/7 multi-signature, with the Odin team holding 2 seats), while revenue is controlled by the Finance DAO (3/5 multi-signature, with no seats for the Odin team).
Current Status: The backgrounds of DAO members and the contract audit have not yet been made public, and the trustworthiness is yet to be verified.
Conclusion: The risk of running away depends on the transparency of the contract and the execution of governance.

3. Who is the founder of ODIN•FUN? Is it reliable?
The founder @BobBodily is a veteran in the Bitcoin circle, having previously created the inscription trading platform @bioniqMarket based on ICP technology.
He has rich technical experience. However, the security of the ODIN platform still requires more public information for verification.

Final Words
During the Space conference, big names like @Real0xJason and @louisliubj analyzed the feasibility of Odin from a technical perspective. However, nobody can guarantee 100% platform security—after all, the lessons from stolen smart contracts are not far behind. As an investor, rational judgment is crucial; small bets can be enjoyable, while big bets can be harmful!
