Argentina has been plunged into a political crisis following the scandal involving President Javier Milei’s promotion of the $LIBRA cryptocurrency.
The case began with a simple presidential tweet encouraging a suspicious memecoin, which quickly collapsed, losing 90% of its value and turned into one of the biggest scandals of his administration, with accusations of fraud, calls for impeachment and criminal investigations being launched.
