Time Magazine publishes cover with montage of Elon Musk in presidential chair at the White House The publication says that Musk is leading a "war in Washington" for spending cuts in his new department, but warns of "the dangers of an unelected man having such unrestricted power" and suggests a dispute with Trump.
Time magazine published this Friday (7) the cover of its next issue with a montage of billionaire Elon Musk occupying the presidential chair in the Oval Office of the White House.
The image illustrates a report that points out how Musk has used state powers that Donald Trump has not yet made clear whether the billionaire could have to lead "the forces that are reshaping the United States", cutting government spending without Donald Trump's consent.
It warns of "the dangers of an unelected man having such unrestricted power" and suggests that he is disputing forces with the current president.
"No private citizen has exercised so much power over the machinery of the US government", says the report. "Musk has shown that he will not tolerate any opposition, no matter how justified."
