According to Odaily, Italian parliament member Marcello Coppo recently suggested in an interview that bank foundations should consider investing in Bitcoin. He proposed allocating a small portion of their income to this digital asset to potentially achieve significant investment returns. Bank foundations are organizations established in the form of banks, using their funds to support social, cultural, and charitable activities. Coppo believes that such investments could garner public support, as Bitcoin has long been met with skepticism in Italy. However, he does not anticipate Italy establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the near future.
