US President Joe Biden has said that the Gaza ceasefire agreement is on the verge of implementation.

According to Reuters, the negotiating teams are expected to meet in Doha today (Tuesday) to finalize the details of the plan.

Joe Biden, who considers himself the main architect of the plan, has stated that the ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages in Gaza will be implemented soon.

Reuters had previously reported that the final draft of the agreement had been delivered to Israel and Hamas.

‏US President-elect Donald Trump said that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin "quickly" after taking office.

Trump did not specify a time for the meeting.

The possible meeting would be the first between the US and Russian leaders since Russia's war with Ukraine began in February 2022.

“It’s up to Putin, and I can’t imagine he’s very happy with what’s happened, because it hasn’t exactly been a good situation for him,” Trump told Newsmax when asked about his strategy for ending the war.
