However, this junior student did not buy BTC, but went traveling instead.
We can calculate that at the end of 2021, BTC was 3u, and now in 2024 it's directly 7.4wu. If he had listened to the big shots' advice, he would have made a fortune!
This is a lack of understanding; it's often said that one should earn money from what they understand, but getting rich is always about earning from what one does not understand.
But from this incident, we can learn some lessons. In the rapidly changing and extremely early industry of crypto, one should maintain a very open mindset, absolutely avoid prejudice, and actively research new fields/new coins. Whether you understand it or not, you can start with a small position and take a gamble; if you lose, you lose. Don't dismiss it outright just because of the limitations of your understanding (not understanding), and don't avoid learning new knowledge, dealing with various complicated processes, worrying about being hacked, or other reasons.
Due to prejudice, I missed the wealth; I personally missed the rise of Pepe and Aidoge, thinking they were all scam coins, but they indeed skyrocketed. So when facing opportunities, take a small gamble; what if it’s a windfall? Who can say for sure?
