Other names under consideration are former CFTC commissioners Jill Sommers and Brian Quintenz, former CFTC official Josh Sterling, and Kumar, a special advisor to a former CFTC legal counsel. Additionally, there are reports that Perianne Boring, founder of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, is also on the list, although her candidacy remains uncertain.
