According to ChainCatcher, Jonathan Gould, the head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, stated at a policy and regulatory event in Washington, D.C. that the de-banking of the crypto industry is real and represents a genuine phenomenon.
He mentioned that in the early days of his tenure, he was busy addressing the de-banking issue, revoking imposed anti-cryptocurrency licensing conditions, and working on new stablecoin regulations.
