According to Jin Ten data, the U.S. June PPI data unexpectedly fell short of expectations, mainly due to a decrease in service prices. The report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that the Producer Price Index and Core Producer Price Index remained flat month-on-month, both below market expectations.

The previously released CPI data shows that the impact of tariff increases has permeated multiple categories such as home goods, appliances, and leisure products. Although inflation has been mild this year, economists expect that as businesses offset trade costs, inflation will gradually rise.
