According to ChainCatcher, Brazilian authorities are seeking software solutions to track the location and movements of cryptocurrency projects nationwide, enhancing their ability to combat related crimes.

The Brazilian Ministry of Justice and Public Security has announced a contract to discover and track cryptocurrency projects over the next 36 months. The goal is to sign contracts for software based on blockchain technology to locate, track, and analyze cryptocurrency asset transactions.

The contract will start accepting proposals on July 4th next year, with solutions to be promoted in specific cities in Brazil, including 15 of the 27 state capitals.
