According to Deep Tide TechFlow, Cetus Protocol announced a complete restart on June 8, 2025, at 3:00 UTC. Previously, Cetus's CLMM pool was hacked, resulting in a significant loss of tokens.

After the restart, users will have access to all features, with the liquidity recovery rate of the affected pools between 85% and 99%. Cetus will allocate 15% of the tokens for compensation, of which 5% can be claimed immediately and 10% will be unlocked linearly over 12 months.

The Cetus team has invested $7 million in cash reserves and obtained a $30 million USDC loan from the Sui Foundation to support recovery, while taking legal action in multiple jurisdictions to recover funds.
