According to PANews, the assets of Bitcoin ETFs held by institutions decreased by 23% in the first quarter of 2025, falling from $27.4 billion to $21.2 billion, mainly due to an 11% decline in Bitcoin prices. Financial advisors increased their holdings of Bitcoin ETFs against the trend, while most asset management institutions reduced their positions. Companies continue to incorporate Bitcoin into their balance sheets, with publicly listed companies holding 1.98 million BTC, an increase of 18.6% since the beginning of the year. Strategy Company increased its holdings for 17 out of the 20 weeks ending in June, purchasing 15,355 BTC on April 28. Analysts believe that the rise in U.S. Treasury yields may weaken the attractiveness of traditional safe-haven assets, providing support for Bitcoin's long-term trend.
