According to ChainCatcher, the mentions of "cryptocurrency" and "stablecoin" in U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings have reached an all-time high. In April, SEC filings mentioned "cryptocurrency" 786 times, an increase of 38% from March and an 8% increase year-over-year. The average mentions of "stablecoin" in the months from February to April 2025 reached 103 times, doubling the average from the previous 13 months. This surge in data reflects the federal agencies' increased attention to digital assets, with the SEC's upcoming new regulatory framework and stablecoin guidelines becoming the focus of the market.
