According to WuSay, Jacob Franek, a core builder of Alliance, said that the Ethereum community needs to support developers who build excellent applications. Hackathons produce few high-quality products, and the community has invested too much in this.
Franek suggested that more funds should be invested in accelerators, incubators, eco-VC funds and growth funds, rather than investing primarily in basic research. In addition, the Ethereum mainnet needs to be expanded and the composability of the second-layer network needs to be fixed.
