According to TechFlow, the Ministry of Education of El Salvador and the Bitcoin Office have jointly launched The Little HODLer project, launching a course called "What is Currency?" for students aged 7-13.
The course will be piloted in 50 public schools in the La Libertad province, with approximately 1,000 students participating. The course will provide three hours of Bitcoin and financial education per week, integrated into the national social studies curriculum.
Students will learn about financial knowledge such as the history of currency, the basics of budgeting, savings, and the importance of Bitcoin as a financial innovation. This is an extension of El Salvador’s investment in Bitcoin education, which has previously launched a Bitcoin diploma course and the CUBO+ scholarship program.
