According to PANews, during a closed-door roundtable hosted by the Bitcoin Policy Institute on Tuesday, Bo Hines, Executive Director of the U.S. President's Digital Assets Task Force, revealed that the White House intends to acquire as much Bitcoin as possible. When asked how much Bitcoin the U.S. government might eventually purchase, Hines humorously compared the question to asking how many dollars someone would want.

A White House official confirmed Hines' statement about acquiring Bitcoin but emphasized that any such acquisitions would be conducted in a budget-neutral manner, ensuring no taxpayer money is spent. The official also noted that Hines did not endorse any specific legislation during the event.
