According to Odaily, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet has announced the issuance of 2 billion yen (approximately 12.7 million USD) in zero-interest ordinary bonds to further invest in Bitcoin. This move aims to strengthen its Bitcoin reserves as a strategic asset to hedge against the depreciation of the yen and inflation risks. Metaplanet has previously made several Bitcoin purchases, demonstrating its strong confidence in cryptocurrency as a long-term value storage tool.
