The index measures market performance by analyzing the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, to determine whether the market is in an altcoin season or remains Bitcoin-dominated.
Over the past 90 days, 27 of these altcoins have outperformed Bitcoin in price growth, signalling a weakening altcoin trend.
