According to Odaily, Metaplanet, a Japanese company inspired by Strategy's Bitcoin approach, has announced its intention to rename the last remaining Royal Oak Hotel in Tokyo's Gotanda district to 'The Bitcoin Hotel.' This rebranding aims to facilitate Bitcoin-related seminars and events. Storm Research analyst Rhiannon Ewart-White noted that while Metaplanet's Bitcoin acquisition is supported by its hotel business, the scale of this business is minimal, albeit profitable. She cautioned that a significant drop in Bitcoin prices could pose serious challenges for the company.
