🔼 Thailand has approved a personal income tax exemption policy for profits from the sale of digital assets, including #Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2029. 📃 According to Thai Deputy Finance Minister Julapun Amornvivat, this policy applies to transactions conducted through platforms licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (SEC). 💬 The goal is to promote Thailand as a global digital asset hub, attract investment, stimulate the economy, and enhance transparency in the cryptocurrency market, while also complying with international standards set by the OECD and FATF. This policy is expected to generate over 1 billion baht (about 30.7 million USD) in indirect revenue for the economy in the medium term. 🔼 The current tax policy on Crypto profits is rarely implemented by countries 🔼 Even South Korea, a country with strict crypto laws, does not implement it 🔼 For more information, I believe that Vietnam will not implement it #thuevietnam #thuecrypto

Vietnam will soon have a legal framework for crypto investment. When the state manages it, the state will collect taxes from investors. Taxes may be collected on each transaction; whenever a transaction occurs, taxes will have to be paid, similar to stock investment, but the percentage is not clear, with people predicting it to be 1%. Additionally, there is another method being discussed, which is to manage the OTC trading market. When the total amount withdrawn by investors exceeds the amount deposited into the exchange, taxes will be levied on the profit. At that point, the exchange will need to provide information to the state for management. All of this is speculation; what do you think the tax will be like? #thuevietnam #thuecrypto
