1. Identify the Pattern

Look for a strong price move (uptrend or downtrend).

Observe a small symmetrical triangle forming after the move.

Ensure the volume decreases as the pennant forms.

2. Confirm the Breakout

Wait for the price to break above the resistance (in an uptrend) or below the support (in a downtrend).

Confirm with an increase in volume on the breakout.

3. Enter the Trade

Buy if the breakout is upward or sell/short if the breakout is downward.

Place your entry slightly above resistance (for buys) or below support (for sells).

4. Set Stop Loss & Take Profit

Stop Loss: Below the pennant’s lowest point (for buys) or above the highest point (for sells).

Take Profit: Measure the previous price movement and project it from the breakout point.
