Don't Fall into the Trap! The Recent Scare from CoinMarketCap is Your Cybersecurity AlertOn June 20, 2025, the cryptocurrency ecosystem experienced a moment of tension. CoinMarketCap, the reference platform for millions of investors and enthusiasts, was compromised. It was not a massive hack with direct loss of funds in its systems, but something more subtle and, at the same time, insidious: a vulnerability in its interface that allowed the injection of malicious code, opening the door to a phishing attack targeting users. This incident, although quickly controlled, is a stark reminder that the last line of defense in the volatile crypto world is you.

🔥 NEW: Michael Saylor says that on-chain proof of reserves is a bad idea and exposes users and institutions to cyber attacks and data breaches. The strategy will not reveal wallets and will opt for traditional audits. 🔥LATEST🔥 💥Economic DATA from this week is starting to arrive. #Bitcoin and the SP500 react to the RISE 👉Consumer CONFIDENCE came in WAY ABOVE expectations, surpassing expert predictions by 2 digits. What does this mean ▪️Consumer confidence rose from 87.1 to 98 while a DECLINE to 85.7 was expected. ▪️This data measures how households feel about the economy, employment, and their finances. ▪️A high figure implies that people are more willing to spend, which usually boosts consumption and thus economic growth. Why does it matter 🔸It may indicate that the economy is stronger than previously thought, which reduces recession fears. 🔸Markets interpret it as a positive signal: 🔸The SP500 rises due to expectations of higher corporate earnings 🔸As for Bitcoin, it rises because a confident consumer may imply more liquidity and risk appetite, favoring assets like BTC. 📍Moreover, this data had been FALLING month by month since NOVEMBER 2024, today marked the first INCREASE in 7 MONTHS 📍This data, which comes despite the TARIFFS, FAVORS financial markets and BREAKS its bearish trend #Bitcoin2025 #MichaelSaylor #SP500 #ciberataque #BTC $BTC

Binance is compromised, avoid getting robbed!P.5 Finally, some recommendations so that you don't go through what I did (read my tragicomedy 🤡 in the previous posts): Do not have the Google Authenticator from Binance enabled on the account with the same email you use to log in to Binance. Because hackers, when they have access to your main email, automatically have access to all accounts associated with that email. Enable the Binance Authenticator on the account of a separate recovery email that you must create.

How to choose the best wallet for storing cryptocurrencies? Choosing a wallet depends on how often you plan to use your cryptocurrencies. Wallet types: Hot wallets — for example, MetaMask, Trust Wallet. Suitable for daily use and integration with DEXs. Cold wallets — for example, Ledger, Trezor. Ideal for long-term storage and large amounts. Multisig — allows wallet control to be shared among multiple participants. Hardware wallets — offer the highest level of security, but are less practical for quick transactions. 👉 If you're storing large amounts, always use a cold wallet. For small transactions, hot wallets are suitable. #billetera #DEX #Seguridad #ciberataque #ciberseguridad $USDC
