Token Gate: Season 2 Task Access Requirements
In Season 1, everyone was able to access data labeling tasks from all difficulties. Season 2 will limit access to higher-difficulty tasks only to users from Season 1 that demonstrated strong accuracy and participation. These users were rewarded with a soulbound token (SBT) marking their ascension to the “Demigod” user tier, enabling access to these token-gated, higher-difficulty tasks. Perform well this season, and you could unlock similar opportunities in the future!

How It Works:

Global Notification: Demigod SBT holders from Season 1 will receive a notification upon logging in for Season 2, guiding them to mint their SBT on the Achievements page.

Task Page Updates:

For SBT Holders: Access exclusive tasks with a new visual style highlighting your achievement.

For Non-Holders: See tasks marked as inaccessible with messaging about the SBT requirement.

This feature ensures that our contributors are progressively rewarded for their skills and dedication.

Banning Mechanism Refinement
To improve data quality and platform efficiency, we’ve enhanced the banning mechanism for labeling tasks.

New Logic: Labelers are now banned earlier if their performance makes it mathematically impossible to meet the required accuracy threshold. For instance, if a task requires 80% accuracy, a user making two errors in the first five data points will be immediately disqualified.

Task Creators: Faster removal of underperforming contributors ensures higher-quality datasets.

Labelers: Clearer, immediate feedback on task performance.
