Israeli hackers breached Iranian exchange Nobitex for $81 million
On June 18, 2025, the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex, the largest in the country, suffered a large-scale cyberattack, resulting in the theft of digital assets worth over $81 million. The hacker group Gonjeshke Darande (Predatory Sparrow), linked to Israel, claimed responsibility for the attack.
