🟢 Do Crypto – But Do It Halal!
📉 Future Trading in Islam: Halal or Haram?
Assalamu Alaikum Crypto Brothers & Sisters! 🌙
Let’s talk about something many do... but don’t fully understand!
❓ The Big Question:
“Is Future Trading allowed in Islam?”
💡 What is Future Trading?
You agree to buy/sell a crypto asset (like BTC) at a future date & fixed price,
but you don’t actually own the asset — it's just a paper contract 📄
🕌 Islamic Perspective:
According to most Islamic scholars, it’s Haram due to:
❗ Gharar (excessive uncertainty)
🎲 Qimar (gambling/speculation)
📦 No real delivery of the asset
💸 Use of Leverage = Riba (interest)
📚 Scholar’s Opinion:
Mufti Taqi Usmani (DB):
“Future contracts lack both actual possession and ownership — hence, not permissible.”
Darul Uloom Deoband & Al-Azhar University also consider such contracts haram ❌
✅ So What’s Halal in Crypto?
👉 Spot Trading!
Real-time buy/sell
Coins directly in your wallet
No leverage, no interest involved
🧭 Final Verdict:
🔴 Future Trading = Haram (due to speculation & riba)
🟢 Spot Trading = Halal + Full of Barakah
📢 Earn through crypto – but keep it Shariah-compliant!
