“Your Anti-Phishing Code has NOT been activated!”
That is, unless you set it up sometime last summer like a responsible adult.
Big yellow warning sign. Exclamation point. All caps. Looks terrifying. But don’t panic, sir, it’s not a hack, not the government, and definitely not your ex trying to drain your wallet.
It’s just a reminder to protect yourself.
Scammers love sending fake Binance emails. Same logos, layout, style. But one bad click and boom, your entire SHIB bag is in the hands of some cartoon villain in a hoodie.
The Anti-Phishing Code is your personal handshake with Binance. You pick a custom word (like banana99 or hodl4life), and they include it in every official message.
No code? No trust. No click. Simple as that.
So the next time that pop-up appears, don’t overthink it. Tap Activate Now, set a code, move on with your life. Or ignore it five times a day until you post on Square asking if it’s a virus.
Spoiler: it’s not a virus.
It’s just a free lock on your front door. Use it.
Because let’s be honest. If you scroll through Square for ten minutes, you’ll see this question at least three times, copy-pasted with different grammar. I hope someone sends this article to that brotha. Save his sanity.
