According to Downdetector, complaints about platform X soared to 40,000 at one point, and the service disruption lasted for several hours.
A hacker organization called 'Dark Storm' stepped forward to 'claim' this attack. It is said that this organization has connections to Russia, and they claimed they would cripple platform X, which they actually did!

Cybersecurity company SpyoSecure claimed that the leader of Dark Storm posted on Telegram announcing this attack and boasted about taking X offline; however, the organization's Telegram channel was shut down for violating platform policies.
