In the afternoon, I lamented in the Ton ecological group that the Ton I stockpiled with faith has already lost a lot.

The big Telegram of Ton with 1.05 billion monthly active users, starting from the 21st of last month, only allows mini-programs to use the Ton chain and not other chains, which is obviously very beneficial for the Ton chain. Therefore, I stocked up on coins in advance.

Looking at the coin price again after more than a month, it is possible that Telegram's Ton Exclusive, this double-edged sword, might have driven away big projects like <Chronicles of the Three Kingdoms> that come with huge player traffic, and not just one, but a batch of them.

If Telegram really wants to support Ton, it might as well collect a protection fee of 100,000 U for each project that issues mini-programs on Telegram while using other public chains, similar to the listing fee of exchanges, and then use this protection fee to buy back Ton. I estimate that Ton would have surged by now. When the coin price rises, Ton can then use grants to incentivize projects to use the Ton chain, which would be very popular.

Protection fees can be charged based on monthly active users, for example, a mini-program with 10 million monthly active users that does not use the Ton chain would be charged 100,000 U per month, 5 million monthly active users would be charged 50,000 U, and so on. Projects with less than 500,000 monthly active users would be exempted to support startup projects. As long as the mini-program uses the Ton chain, not only would there be no protection fee, but there would also be gas fee subsidies.

Charging based on monthly active users can also avoid projects buying fake volume, naturally reducing the bot accounts that studios farm in Telegram, achieving a twofold benefit.
