As part of Apple’s announcement of its personal intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, which will begin rolling out a host of new features later this year, Apple has also partnered with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into the Apple ecosystem.
According to a press release from Apple, Apple Intelligence combines powerful generative models with personal context to set a new industry standard for privacy protection in artificial intelligence. In text-based applications, the new system's features include text proofreading, summarization, combing through email and message threads, and prioritization of notifications.
