Over the weekend, I bet on two altcoins. One was soon, which had a three-day pullback. I built the base position at noon on Friday, and during that time, there were two large bullish candles, making me feel like I had chosen the right direction. So, after waiting for soon to pull back a bit, I hurriedly increased my position, adding to the losses all the way down. What I didn't expect was that the surge I thought was a pre-launch signal turned out to be the last rise. Over the weekend, soon fell without any bottom. Since I had a relatively large margin now, I chose to hold the position, and after two days, I lost over four thousand U.
Looking back now, soon was being suppressed by moving averages all the way, especially on Friday night and Saturday. Every time it surged, it was a trap for buyers, with a small rise followed by a rapid drop to reach lower lows. In this situation, adding to the position was indeed foolish. Let’s take this lesson of over four thousand U.
The other altcoin I bet on was one that surged greatly on Friday night. I built a position during the pullback in the early morning, and after a significant drop on Saturday noon, I went heavily into it. This purchase was decent, as there was a surge in the afternoon, increasing by 20 points, at which point my position had an unrealized profit of 9100U.
But foolish operations came again; with an unrealized profit of 9100U, greed took over, thinking to close the position when the profit reached 10,000 U. As a result, I missed the peak, and that coin kept falling until the position turned into an unrealized loss.
Both of these operations were quite foolish. Soon was irrational, abandoning the careful observation of candlesticks I had in the past, instead relying solely on emotions to keep adding to the position, adding more as it fell, ultimately leading to a huge loss and exit. The other one lost due to one word: 'greed'; in order to earn an extra thousand U, I lost over ten thousand U.
This is the first pullback and loss since starting contract trading.

昨天试了下“跟单”功能，结果还真赚了一点，感觉比自己瞎搞靠谱#合约挑战

After holding a short position all day, the market fluctuated around 4640 during the day, but I finally caught this wave of market movement at night, earning 5112U.
With more margin, I indeed feel much more confident, willing to take larger positions, and not panicking even when being caught in a drawdown. The wide fluctuation of two points in a bullish candle at 8:30 didn’t scare me, and ultimately I secured this profit.
I feel that Ethereum still has room to drop this weekend, aiming for 4100-4200, waiting for a rebound to find a suitable position to continue shorting.
I still hold a long position in an altcoin that has been declining for three days, facing a loss of around 1000U. Weekends are generally the realm of altcoins, so let's see if this long position can yield some profit in the next couple of days.
On the seventh day of trading, the current balance is 15722U.

Although this bottom-fishing Ethereum trade made a profit of 1338U, it was actually a heavy lesson.
On Friday, after 9:30, there was a clear increase in selling volume and a drop, but not only did I fail to hold onto my short position, I also opened a long position at a very inappropriate time, relying purely on luck, and endured a sleepless night to break even. If it dropped a few more points from the lowest point of 4361 to 4350, it would have hit my stop-loss, resulting in a huge loss.
Reflecting on why I operated this way, I feel like I fell into my old habits again, lacking patience and feeling discontent. I held onto my short position for a whole day, while Ethereum fluctuated up and down, mostly in a trapped state. So by the evening, after a small drop, I saw a floating profit of 5000U and couldn't wait to take profit, completely ignoring the downtrend with increasing volume, which I didn't grasp at all.
Moreover, not only did I fail to hold my short position, but after a significant drop in Ethereum, I roughly calculated in my mind and realized I missed out on tens of thousands of U in profit, which left me feeling very discontent. I chose to go long with a large position against the trend and ended up being trapped for a night, almost hitting my stop-loss, all due to my chaotic operations.
I cannot make such a basic mistake again.
On the eighth day of trading, the current balance is 16939U.

Back from Hell!
On the sixth day of trading, balance 8654U.
The day before yesterday, I opened a position and shorted Ethereum, suffering huge losses and losing more than half of 8500U. Fortunately, after recognizing the situation, I joined the bulls, and the two long positions made back half of the losses. Plus, with the 1600U profit from this Sol short position, I'm almost back to my peak.
The Ethereum from the day before yesterday was simply unreasonable, skyrocketing all the way up. Thankfully, I didn't stubbornly hold on to the bottom, allowing me to rise again. Ethereum should still be able to break its historical high, probably within these two days, and I'm preparing to find a suitable position to continue going long.
