Day of Tarwiyah
It is the eighth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah
It is the day when pilgrims go to Mina to spend the night there. Ibn Qudamah mentioned in Al-Mughni the reason for this name, saying:

It was named so because they used to gather water on this day to prepare it for the day of Arafah,

And it was said that it was named so because Ibrahim (peace be upon him) saw in a dream that night the sacrifice of his son, so he woke up pondering whether it was a dream or a command from God. Thus, it is called the Day of Tarwiyah.

Allah, the Exalted, said: ﴿And your Lord said, 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you'﴾ #Surah_Ghafir (60). The word (Call upon Me) encompasses both types of supplication.

Types of supplication:

1️⃣ Supplication of Worship: It is drawing closer to Allah, the Exalted, through what He has legislated; the worshiper is calling with the tongue of their state.
2️⃣ Supplication of Request: It is asking Allah, the Exalted, for the fulfillment of needs; the requester is calling with the tongue of their speech.

Except for the Sacred Mosque, and a prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better than a hundred thousand prayers elsewhere
