1) Trump provided Ukraine with indirect security guarantees since now the USA will protect its assets on Ukrainian territory. This exacerbates relations with Russia rather than resolving the issue.

2) The USA has prevented World War III by prolonging the current war indefinitely: the supply of weapons and everything else will continue, thus the conflict could last a very long time.

3) Trump will consistently continue to say that he intends to end the conflict as soon as possible.

So far, Trump's actions contradict his words.
