🟢 Vietnam bans accounts — Bitcoin collects applause
Vietnamese banks have frozen 43% of accounts — supposedly in the fight against cybercrime. A total of 86 million accounts were affected. The reason? They didn't pass the biometrics — now you can't open an account or transfer money online without facial scanning.
🧠 And what is Bitcoin doing during this time?
It stands aside, strokes its private keys, and says:
"This is why I exist."
📌 Why this strengthens crypto's position:
— Bitcoin is not frozen "just like that"
— No biometrics, passport, SNILS, or your favorite porridge from childhood required
— Stored outside of banks, completely under your control
— Works 24/7, without weekends or regulatory "surprises"
🌍 Similar cases have already happened:
— 🇨🇳 China, 2022: Depositors couldn't withdraw money
— 🇺🇸 USA: Asset confiscation without a court
— 🇷🇺 Russia: From November 2025, the Federal Tax Service will have the right to write off debts without a court
📢 All this is free advertising for Bitcoin. When traditional finance goes "closed", decentralized money says "open".
