⚡️ Bybit vs. hackers: first results of the investigation

Bybit published a preliminary report on the recent hack, and it's not that simple:

🔹 2 days before the attack, the JavaScript code on the Safe platform was changed. An error or a planned bug? The developers know this “accidental” scenario all too well.

🔹 Bybit employees are clean - their devices are not hacked. The attackers used address substitution when interacting with a cold wallet. A standard scheme.

🔹 Smart contracts are fine, but the human factor failed - the security hole was in the Safe developer. So much for the “safe” wallet.

🔹 Safe has already strengthened its protection, but we all know: security is not a button, but a process.
