What is Solv Protocol (SOLV)?
Solv is a Bitcoin staking protocol that aims to establish a Bitcoin-focused financial ecosystem by increasing liquidity and enhancing the utility of Bitcoin assets. Through cross-chain operations, it ensures that Bitcoin holders can participate in DeFi, enabling BTC to be used for generating yields.
The SOLV token is central to Solv Protocol and supports multiple functions. Holders can vote on network governance decisions and influence the protocol’s direction. By staking SOLV through the Staking Abstraction Layer, participants gain access to protocol rewards and emissions. SOLV holders also receive fee discounts, including redemption fees for SolvBTC.
Solv Protocol’s framework includes components designed to improve the Bitcoin staking process. SolvBTC is a BTC-pegged token, maintained at a 1:1 ratio to Bitcoin, enabling cross-chain transactions and participation in DeFi.
SolvBTC.LSTs, or Liquid Staking Tokens, let Bitcoin holders earn yield while keeping their assets accessible. Meanwhile, the Staking Abstraction Layer (SAL) consolidates the process of staking Bitcoin across different networks, providing a single point of access for generating returns.
The total supply is 8.4B SOLV and the current circulating supply stands at 1.48B SOLV.
SOLV is listed on Binance for trade and purchase. The current price of SOLV is available and updated in real time on Binance.
