The ETF recorded an approximate addition of 4,284 BTC to its holdings, growing from 45,668 BTC on January 24, 2024 to a notable 49,952 BTC.
Moreover, the market value of the Bitcoin held by BlackRock as of January 25, 2024, amounted to around $1,982,095,794.51. Such a significant increase in holdings underlines the growing interest and investment in the premier cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, among mainstream financial institutions.
