According to Zawya: In a transformative partnership, Fuse Network and Polygon Labs are set to develop an Ethereum-based Zero Knowledge (ZK) Layer-2 (L2) network, driven by Polygon's Chain Development Kit (CDK). Fuse Network, renowned for scaling Web3 payments at Layer-1, positions this new ZK-powered L2 as its prime platform, giving its userbase and developers access to premier blockchain ecosystems.

The network will utilize Fuse's native token, FUSE, for covering gas fees. Thanks to its superior scalability for Ethereum, extensive customization capabilities, privacy features, and sturdy Web3 ecosystem support, the Polygon CDK serves as an optimal choice to propel blockchain adoption for businesses.

Commenting on the venture, Fuse Network's CEO Mark Smargon said, "In our effort to achieve low transaction costs, instant clearing and finality, high throughput, and a decentralized validator set, we found that using Polygon CDK aligns perfectly with our ecosystem."

The migration process to the Polygon CDK involves deploying the ZK rollup on Fuse's L1, integrating L1 <> L2 communication into Fuse's products, and migrating the network to ZK Validium with a selected partner (Zeeve, Gateway, Avail).

In the future, the partnership will enhance features like zkEVM to boost network TPS, ZK instant transfers for better user experiences, a more secure decentralized validator set, and improved bridging capabilities.

As privacy remains pivotal in the digital landscape, Fuse Network's migration to Polygon CDK will enhance its offerings, positioning it as the ultimate Web3 payment solution for businesses. The innovative Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK) ensures instant transaction finality, unrivaled scalability, unified liquidity pools, and aids businesses like the global crypto payments leader Wirex to embrace blockchain and crypto payments.
