According to Odaily Planet Daily, the Ethereum core development team is about to complete the formulation of two key standards, ERC-7828 and ERC-7930, aimed at solving the address identification problem in cross-chain interactions. The ERC-7930 standard will provide a unified network identification format, while the ERC-7828 standard will convert complex cryptographic addresses into the 'name@service' format, reducing the risk of asset loss due to users mistakenly choosing the wrong network.

The Ethereum Pectra upgrade is scheduled to be deployed to the mainnet on May 7, originally planned for release in March 2025, but delayed due to technical issues with the Holesky testnet. The operation status on the Hoodi testnet is currently stable.
