4 Summary Recommendation

Sell at resistance: Enter a sell position (short) when the price touches the upper limit (the resistance level of the range).
Clear Targets: Your profit target is often the opposite limit. For example, if you buy at support, you aim for resistance.
Tight Stops: Place a stop-loss just below the support (for a buy) or above the resistance (for a sell) to protect yourself from a bearish or bullish breakout of the range.
B. Fake Breakouts
Breaks out of a range are often false signals. Wait for confirmation:
Wait for Re-entry: A common trap is to take a position at the breakout. A safer approach is to wait for the price to re-enter the range before taking a position in the opposite direction (sell if the upper limit has been falsely broken).

Patience and Discipline: These are the key words. Sideways markets are often frustrating and lead to boredom, prompting impulsive trades. Resist the urge to over-trade.
Reduced Aggressiveness: If you are used to taking big risks in trending markets, reduce the size of your positions. Movements are smaller and false breakouts are frequent.
Honest Recognition: Accept that the market is in a phase of "consolidation" or "indecision". Your trend strategies will be less effective.

🇪🇺 The European Banking Authority (EBA), the EU's banking regulator, is finalising draft rules for banks holding Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The draft rules require banks to assign a risk weight of 1,250% to "unsecured" cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The framework applies to banks in the European Union that hold crypto assets on their balance sheets.

Once approved, the bill would become a delegated regulation and be sent to the European Parliament and the Council.

For example: a bank will have to tie up €12.5 million of capital for €1 million of $BTC held...
