Guys, look at this 👇When I opened my short position on COAI yesterday, I didn’t really notice it at first — but later, when I saw how negative the funding fee was, I was honestly shocked.
Just check how the funding fees on $COAI /USDT have been behaving lately — it’s insanely volatile! 😳
🟥 Consecutive negative funding fees like
-389.59 USDT, -277.69 USDT, -59.58 USDT
and only a small positive one like +2.58 USDT.
This clearly shows how aggressively the market sentiment is tilted — most traders are on the same side (probably long), which pushes the funding rate to the extreme.
💡 Remember:
When funding fees go highly negative, it means shorts are paying longs heavily.
That often hints that a short squeeze may be near — or the market could flip sharply if overleveraged traders get liquidated.
