IPO SZN. Circle yesterday, Gemini news today. Probably a sign of things to come as more crypto related companies go public. This means more buy pressure from Index Fund providers as they’re forced to hold the underlying stock. Paradigm shift.

I can’t believe nobody on CT is highlighting that Vanguard disclosed yesterday they own 11.4% of Coinbase (COIN) common stock. That’s an eye watering $7.5bn. Vanguard has always been the poster child for old-school, low-cost investing and has pretty much steered clear of anything crypto. But now crypto-native companies are becoming too large and too integrated into financial markets to ignore.

Will Pump Fun token holders be entitled to future fee share or will there be token buybacks built in? If not then I don’t see where the value is in buying in at a $4bn valuation. Pretty wild that the cumulative value of all memes launched from Pump is only $0.5bn higher than the amount they’re raising at. Early investors eating well on this; previous rounds were at $12mm, $100mm and $250mm IIRC. That’s a 333x for the earliest round! No indication of airdrop to loyal protocol users - I’ve got more questions than answers now!
