The US President Donald Trump has claimed that he spoke to Apple CEO Tim Cook and told him not to increase Apple production in India. According to a Bloomberg report, Trump told Tim Cook at a business event in Doha, Qatar, "We are not interested in setting up factories in India. "They (India) can take care of themselves, and they are doing very well. "
Trump also said that after this conversation, Apple will now increase their production in America. However, he did not share any other information about the outcome of this conversation or any changes to Apple's plans in India.
