As part of the identity verification process on Binance, residents of Kazakhstan are required to provide proof of address (POA). This document helps us confirm that you reside at the stated address, in compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations. Without it, we cannot complete the verification of your account.
In this guide, we’ll explain how to provide a document to verify your address and successfully complete the process.

Using your Individual Identification Number (IIN) is the most convenient way to verify your address:
1.1 Enter your IIN in the indicated field.
1.2 You will receive an SMS from the 1414 service on the phone number linked to your IIN, asking for confirmation.
1.3 To proceed, send back the confirmation code (usually 511, 521, or 531, depending on the message).
1.4 Once the code is sent, the system will verify your details through government services, and we will ask you to confirm the information.
Kazakhstan residents can verify their address on Binance by using official documents available through eGov or banking apps that support government services. This process allows you to submit official documents that confirm your address for verification.
Steps for Verifying Address Using Documents:
2.1 Fill in Your Address Information
Begin by entering the following details:
Address (street, house, and apartment number),
City,
Country of Residence.
2.2 Select a Document
On the address confirmation page, select a document from the dropdown list provided on the Binance website or into the app.
2.3 Obtain a Medical Certificate via eGov or Banking Apps
To confirm your address, you’ll need to upload one of the following medical certificates:
Certificate from the Narcological Dispensary,
Certificate from the Tuberculosis Dispensary,
Certificate from the Psychoneurological Dispensary.
These certificates are available through eGov as well as banking apps that support government services (look under the “Government Services” section).
How to Locate the Certificates in eGov:
To quickly find the document in eGov, search for one of these terms:
“Provision of information from the Center of Psychiatric Health ‘Narcology’,”
“Provision of information from the Center of Psychiatric Health,”
“Provision of information from the Center of Phthisiopulmonology ‘Phthisiatry’.”
