According to ChainCatcher, on June 6, U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie led a group that included Troy Nehls, Addison McDowell, and Warren Davidson to jointly propose the Gold Reserve Transparency Act (H.R. 3795). The bill requires a comprehensive assay, inventory, and audit of all U.S. gold holdings. It also mandates the public disclosure of all transactions involving U.S. gold over the past 50 years, including purchases, sales, lending, pledging, leasing, swaps, and other collateral activities.
