According to PANews, the U.S. Treasury Department stated that Treasury Secretary Becerra held an executive meeting of the Financial Stability Oversight Council today. During the meeting, the council received a briefing on the President's working group on digital asset markets.
The Chairman of the SEC and the Acting Chairman of the CFTC also provided updates on recent actions from their respective agencies. The speakers discussed efforts to promote U.S. leadership in digital assets and financial technology and to provide greater regulatory clarity.
