According to a report by Jinshi Data, economists expect that the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) in the U.S. for April will increase by 0.1% month-on-month and 2.2% year-on-year. Core PCE is expected to rise by 0.1% month-on-month, with an annual growth of 2.6%.

Josh Hirt, an economist at Vanguard Group, stated that due to adjustments in the PPI for hospitals, doctors, and insurance services, the January and March PCE data may be revised upward. Gene Goldman, Chief Investment Officer at Cetera Investment Management, expects that Friday's U.S. inflation data will show a cooling trend but will not trigger a major market reaction. He noted that short-term data is noisy and still influenced by factors such as additional supply from corporate imports and inventory.
