This system creates a virtuous loop: as more proof requests occur, more ZKC must be locked as collateral, reducing circulating supply; meanwhile, provers are motivated to scale optimally to meet demand.

Boundless separates execution (computation) from consensus (verification). Heavy computations happen off-chain, and only succinct proofs are submitted on-chain, enabling blockchains to scale without sacrificing security. Each additional prover node increases the network’s overall capacity, making the system scalable in a near-linear fashion.

On the developer side, Boundless offers toolkits (SDKs, command-line tools) to integrate proof requests easily. Extensions like Steel (for offloading EVM-compatible code) and Kailua (a hybrid finality mechanism) aim to make existing protocols adopt Boundless without radical redesigns.

Tokenomics & Supply Metrics
ZKC’s maximum supply stands at 1,000,000,000 tokens. At genesis, about 200 million ZKC were circulating (≈20%). A notable event at token launch was a 15 million ZKC airdrop distributed among holders of a partner token, which contributed to initial liquidity and awareness.

Allocation is broadly divided across ecosystem funds, team and contributors, investors, strategic growth, and community rewards. For example:
