$BTC โs price is rising, but altcoins arenโt following the same momentum.
The main reason behind this is BTC Dominance (BTC.D). When BTC.D rises, altcoins usually drop โ and when BTC.D falls, altcoins tend to pump.
Right now, BTC.D is moving upward, which is why the alt market is under pressure. Investors are shifting funds from alts to Bitcoin, causing BTC.D to climb.
Currently, BTC.D is sitting inside a FVG zone and attempting to take a rejection from that area.If BTC.D successfully gets rejected, we could see a massive movement in the altcoin market ahead.
However, if it fails to reject, BTC.D might rise toward the 60% range, where a daily OB is located.
My expectation is that BTC.D will likely reach the 60% range first. If it rejects from there, that could trigger a strong altcoin season.
So, for those holding spot positions, stay patient and keep holding.And for those who havenโt bought yet โ wait a bit longer.
Altcoins may see another slight drop before the next big move.When that drop happens, itโll be the perfect time to buy the dip.
For now, keep your funds ready and watch the charts closely.
