Aleksey Bilyuchenko, accused by the US Department of Justice of hacking Mt. Gox, is reportedly connected to recent deposits of 1,300 BTC into unknown trading platforms. These addresses currently hold 4,100 BTC, with 2,300 BTC already sold, suggesting movement of historically stolen funds. Bilyuchenko, alongside Alexander Vinnik, ran BTC-e, a notorious exchange shut down in 2017 for laundering money linked to criminal activities involving ransomware and drug trafficking.
