According to BlockBeats, Base has released a report detailing a 33-minute outage that occurred on August 5. The interruption in block generation was caused by a switch to a backup sequencer that was not properly configured to handle transactions.
The active sequencer at the time began experiencing delays in block generation, prompting Base's Conductor system, which manages sequencer availability and reliability, to initiate a sequencer switch. The network has since fully recovered, with the total downtime lasting 33 minutes.
